Introduction
Hello! I'm Enzo Grandio, a logo and brand ID designer based in Miami, Florida, United States.
Why did I choose the arrow to be representative of my brand?
I've always been in love with the ideas of simplicity and minimalism, so the movements from Switzerland, Austria, and Italy very much inspired me to base my entire brand identity on those design "revolutions."
Although simple, the arrow can communicate a wide array of meanings that many have never considered, such as the emphasis on one's business's goal to move forward, achieve new heights, and keep up with innovations.
The double arrowhead would also lead to the logomark taking the shape of a tree once rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise, representative of nature, which is another aspect of life that inspires me, both as a person and as a creative personality.
The Logotype
As a designer, having a variety of preferences in type only led me to one place, and that was a brick wall.
As a result, I looked further into Swiss & Italian typography and their specialization in sans serif typefaces. I then found Roc Grotesk, a font family created by the Kostic Type Foundry. Roc Grotesk comes in a large variety of different weights and widths, which led to me viewing it as the perfect font family to represent my brand.
According to the foundry, "Roc is a sans serif grotesk inspired by American wood types from the end of the 19th century. With nine weights in five widths, this family contains 45 fonts in total. The character set supports Western and Central European languages, as well as Turkish."

Color Scheme
Black and white have been known as polar opposites for millennia. "Black traps space, whereas white opens space. Black evokes sophistication; white communicates innocence. It’s clear: black and white are opposites."
In a more detailed light, white is often associated with purity, cleanliness and perfection. Black is the color of power, elegance and mystery.
Although opposites, black and white are well-known to come together in a beautiful manner, as goes the well-known phrase "opposites attract." The convergence of black and white is an example of how two differentiating colors communicate more powerfully together than they do on their own.
